Last Friday I taught my first mala bracelet class. The six students were all lovely women who ranged in age from 14 to 65. There was just as much laughter as there was beading. Which is exactly how I hoped it would be!
We talked about malas, jewelry, yoga, meditation, Moscow Mules and so many other things. I was glad we could have the class in the beautiful Dancer’s Pointe, a dance and activewear store in the gorgeous Perrysburg downtown where we could see the sun set against the historic buildings. It was the perfect place and a wonderful group to have in the class.
And in the end they each took home happy memories and a fantastic mala bracelet they made themselves.
We all had so much fun I have decided to make this class a monthly occurrence with a cap of eight students. Monthly Mala classes will start in May when I am done with college (for good!). I will post when the next Mala class will be as soon as I get everything planned for it! I look forward to bringing more wonderful people together for a fun evening making malas and laughing together!
