There are a lot of exciting things going on this month, way more than I can fit in one post. So I am going to start by telling you about my upcoming Mala Making Classes!
This year I started teaching jewelry classes at Michaels Craftstore in Rossford, Ohio and I love it! So now I am offering classes at local stores in picturesque downtown Perrysburg.
The first classes I’m offering are to teach people how to make their very own 108 bead mala bracelet.
What is a Mala Bracelet?

Malas originated in Buddhist and Hindu practices and were a tool for meditation, especially the repetition of mantras. They are still used for this today. They are also used in yogic meditation practices and many yogis just enjoy wearing them as a simple reminder of peace and grounding.

For the classes there will be four options of gemstone combinations. They are the Balance, Courage, Rejuvenation and Grounding Malas. Each one includes copper spacer beads and a copper lotus charm I have designed and crafted just for these classes. When you sign up be sure to specify which mala bracelet you want so I can order the right beads!
